Organizations open their doors every day and operate under this premise. They are hanging on, yet something seems to be missing. At the end of each fiscal year, they analyze what happened. They get close to goals, they have turnover, and they live with this. It’s like the football team that’s .500 each year. It’s not terrible, but it’s not championship material.

- The relationship between leadership and the followers…Leaders can only lead when they have the permission of the followers
- Customers do business with people, not companies. They can take their business elsewhere, easily. And where the relationship is strong, price, while still important, is secondary to the expertise of the employee. I will pay more to hire a professional that will help me solve my problem.
